Bacteriological H2S Strip Test Instructions:
   
1. Fill the water to be tested upto 'FILL LINE' and replace the cap.
2. Keep at room temperature (preferably at 25 0 to 370C) for 24 - 28 hours
Temperature Range Average Incubation Period
30 - 350 C 24 Hours
25 - 300 C 24 - 36 Hours
20 - 250 C 36 - 48 Hours
15 - 200 C 48 - 60 Hours
3. Observe for the change in colour (blackening) of the medium.
4. Add few drops of some disinfectant (i.e. dettol, phenyl etc.) and discard.
5. If the content turns black, water is not fit for drinking.
