| Media Resources from the India Water Portal |
| India Water Portal would like to be a resource base for journalists in order to facilitate better coverage of water-related issues leading to a more informed citizenry. We have various resources for journalists and media persons. |
| Firstly, we welcome communications from journalists of all sorts regarding coverage of water issues, and will be glad to offer whatever help we can. Contact information is below. |
| We have a free Ask A Question service on the Water Portal which journalists can use to get information they need in writing their articles. |
| Under Interviews we are building up a database of interviews around water issues with people in government (primarily MPs) and NGO leaders. These interviews give insight into the opinions of elected representatives and thought leaders on water issues and provide a starting point for further reporting. The interviews may be used with our permission. |
| The Organisation database can help you find an organisation to contact in a geographical area you are covering. |
| The Tools and Techniques portion of the website gives in-depth coverage of specific water sub-areas. You can find case studies, movies, slideshows etc. on efforts in drinking water, water contamination, rainwater harvesting etc. |
| Under Data and Resources:

| A lot of the content from the Portal is on a CD that we send to people free of cost on request. |
| Future services: In future we plan to have a
media feed of content that we will send to journalists who subscribe to it, in order to keep them aware of important matters in the water sector. If you would like to give input on this idea or sign up for the feed, please email us. We are also planning to add extensive resources in
