A comprehensive set of presentations and papers from the "South Asia Conference on Outstanding Organic Agriculture Techniques" held at Bangalore, Karnataka on 10 and 11 September 2009, and organised by the Organic Farming Association of India (OFAI), National Center of Organic Farming (NCOF) and the Third World Network, Malaysia, covering various aspects of organic, natural and sustainable agriculture, is now available on the India Water Portal.
The conference was designed as a knowledge-sharing exercise between outstanding organic farming practitioners from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Bhutan and Pakistan.
The content from the conference has been organized into five broad themes, with each theme comprising a summary set of presentations/papers.
The endeavor has been to bring together perspectives and practices related to various issues in organic farming and to highlight its potential in semi-arid, dry-land regions in particular and India in general.
We are grateful to the OFAI for sharing this content with us for wider dissemination, and permitting us to place it in the public domain. Please acknowledge the original source (OFAI) as well the individual authors while using this content in any form or medium.
