INREM Foundation invites applications for the post of Network CommunicationsManager for the Fluoride Knowledge and Action Network

Working extensively on the issue of mitigating fluorosis, the Foundation is looking for a manager to assist in the overall communication strategy.

About the position

  • The manager will report to the Network Coordinator and work along with the Secretariat team of INREM Foundation.
  •  S/he will be responsible towards engaging the network forum and be the contact point between network partners and coordination team. 
  • The job also involves collection/development of information with regards to fluorosis mitigation and conversion of documents into web-based communication outputs.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate in Development studies /Social Work/Developmental Communication/Social Communication /Rural Management/ Journalism/ Mass Communication

Experience

  • Experience with 2-5 years will be preferred.
  • Preferably candidates with rural communication experience and/or professional networking experience around social causes.
  • Exceptional fresh candidates will also be considered.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Person should have good interpersonal skills, ability to convert complex ideas into simple communication outputs
  • Should be interested in travelling extensively within India.
  • Proficiency in English/Hindi is essential.
  • Computer based skills such as Word Processor, Spreadsheet and Internet are necessary.

Remuneration

INR 4,80,000 per annum (all inclusive)

Contract period

  • 3 years starting from June 2013 (6 months confirmation period).
  • Potential for extension beyond this period
